Students approach potential sponsors, tell them why they are raising money and ask for a donation in the amount of $10, $20 or more. Primarily, students or their parents should approach people they know including friends, relatives, co-workers and business associates. A complete list of who to approach will be included in your fundraising packet.

To say thank you, an athlete will give the sponsor a coupon that gives him or her access to downloadable discount coupons to hundreds of popular retailers and restaurants. As a bonus, the sponsor will also be entered into a monthly sweepstakes drawing for valuable, no-strings attached, travel vacation packages for 2. |
Sample vacation packages include a 7 Day Greece Getaway with Island Cruise, a 4 Day Utah Outdoor Adventure Tour and a 4 Day New York City Getaway including Broadway theatre tickets. Sweepstakes Rules
Tip: The more exciting the purpose for your fundraiser, the better your results. For example: Raising money for a national competition, international tour or an out of state camp will raise more money than a general team fundraiser.
Your fundraising packet will contain some coupons with a $10 suggested donation printed on them and others with a $20 suggested donation. Relatives and close family friends will normally donate $20 or more, while parent’s co-workers and general acquaintances are usually good for a $10 donation. With the $20 donation, the sponsor’s sweepstake entries will be tripled, giving them 3 entries per month for a year!
Why Other Fundraiser Fail
The reason most fundraising products fail at raising a significant amount of money is because the product is too inexpensive or the profit margin is to low or a combination of both. Look at candy sales (50% profit). If a team was trying to raise $1,000 per athlete to attend a national competition, each athlete would have to sell 2000 candy bars to be successful. That’s a lot of candy for one person to sell!
The World Sports Alliance Difference
With the World Sports Alliance Fundraising Coupon, athletes receive donations in the amount of $10, $20 and more at a time and keep up to 90% profit! It is normal for individual athletes to raise $500, $1000 or more with the World Sports Alliance Fundraiser. Many students have even raised enough to participate on international tours!

What Your Packet Will Include
Most orders are shipped within 2 business days; therefore you can expect your order to arrive in approximately one week. Your packet will include:
- Fundraising coupons: The amount of coupons you receive with $10 and $20 suggested donations printed on them will vary depending on the fundraising packet (s) you order. Since students have a limited amount of friends and relative to approach, it is important to maximize the donation amount from each sponsor. For that reason, Individual packets with a higher profit goal will have a larger percent of $20 coupons than those with a lower profit goal. See the chart above for details.
- A Donor’s Thank You Letter: This letter will thank the sponsor for his/ her support and tell them how to gain access to the valuable discount coupons and enter the 12 months of sweepstake drawings. This information is also printed on each coupon.
- Fundraising Sales Tips Sheet: This sheet will give some useful tips the help the students maximize their fundraising efforts.
